Role: Finance Analyst (Projects)

Location: Blackburn, BB1 2FA – Office Based

Contract: Full-Time / Permanent

Salary: £36,575 - £47,025 Dependent on Experience & Discretionary Bonus Scheme

About the Role:

Our Projects Team is looking for a Finance Analyst. In this role, you will be part of our Country Finance Projects Team and will be responsible for supporting a variety of ongoing finance transformation projects, including system implementations and continuous improvement projects.

Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, you will collaborate with experienced and knowledgeable Senior Finance Managers, as well as a variety of colleagues from across the wider business. This is the perfect opportunity for a qualified accountant who is looking to take their finance career to the next level.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working with Senior Finance Managers (Projects) on a variety of difference projects, including:

• System implementations
• Process improvement projects
• Reporting improvement projects
• Finance modelling projects
• Restructuring and transition projects

• This will include:
  • Extracting and analysing data
  • Building and developing reports using tools such Power BI and Power Query
  • Tracking and reporting projects via our project management tool
  • Stakeholder management

 What we’re looking for:

• Part Qualified accountant ACCA/CIMA/ACA
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Experienced in Microsoft Excel
• Strong data management skills
• Excellent communication skills 
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities
• Team player
