Salary: £36,575 – £47,025 Dependant on experience

About the Role…
At EG Group we are seeking an experienced Master Data Manager to join our Transactional Finance Function. You would be a pivotal role in the Master Data team in the execution of their duties on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. This role provides support to the wider finance and operational teams by maintaining the master data within SAP, processing daily requests and ensuring the correct procedures and controls have been executed.

and will need to use their initiative to solve problems and meet deadlines.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing and leading a small team of specialists – training where required on proper data management.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance management to all team members, ensuring cross training within the team.
- Define master data processes, models, and hierarchies to support business requirements ensuring data quality – accuracy and integrity.
- Develop, manage and report the SLA’s change / set up requests in SAP.
- Lead the implementation and management of MDM processes and other quality tools.
- Extraction of data from SAP and SaaS systems reviewing and defining data standards and structures are complete and consistent.
- Monitor and analyse data quality metrics and KPIs related to masterdata.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with masterdata management.
- Presenting to the leadership team on a regular basis and working with stakeholders to align data practices with business objectives.
- Ensuring all process and system controls are developed, maintained and reported on.
- Prevention of bad / outdated data within the ERP systems .

Candidate Requirements
- Obtained or working towards finance / accounting qualifications and / or relevant experience within a financial setting.
- 3+ years of proven management/leadership skills and upskilling employees.
- Experience of working in a fast paced / transactional environment. (Essential)
- Excel proficient.
- Project management skills. (desirable)
- Skilled in extracting large datasets, analyzing transactions, and understanding processes.
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Results driven with proven record of delivery against KPIs and SLAs.
- Experience of stakeholder management.
- Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills; capable of cross-functional collaboration to drive change and achieve common goals.
- Well organised with the ability to manage own time and workload.
