About the Role…

Our Finance Department is expanding and we have a new opportunity available for a knowledgeable and experienced Senior Management Accountant to join us. In this role, you will be part of our diverse Country Finance Team and you will provide dedicated accounting support by producing monthly management accounts and accomplishing key financial close & day-to-day activities efficiently.

You will be an essential asset in supporting the Financial Controller & Finance Manager in driving forward projects, achieving business objectives and leading the team to success. The role involves cross-department collaboration, interacting with senior stakeholders, financial reporting and implementing process improvements.

We are looking for a qualified accountant with strong business acumen who can hit the ground running. This is the perfect opportunity for a finance professional with ambitions to excel their career within a corporate organisation.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Cross-department collaboration inclusive of attending and speaking in business meetings, presenting in front of colleagues and knowledge sharing
  • Monthly / Quarterly / Annual reporting preparation & consolidation
  • Project work involving creating, leading or supporting projects
  • Prepare and provide relevant and timely management accounts (including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements) within agreed service standards to senior management
  • Extract complex data from multiple sources, check integrity and produce reports for use in management decision-making Support with financial internal & external auditors
  • Support the annual audit process and the development of the business audit and risk management strategy and reporting processes as they evolve and develop
  • Develop and maintain robust processes and controls in line with Group requirements
  • Ensure consistent documentation of tasks and activities according to internal policies
  • Produce all defined periodic financial monitoring and other reports as required

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant – ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and technical skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport and work with senior stakeholders
  • Pro-active work ethic with high productivity
  • Proficient in accounting software & creating reports
  • Adaptable and open to changing priorities
